Poem about The Sleeping Artist

The Sleeping Artist

 –

Among artists, I am grand.

Masterpiece on easel’s stand.

I do portraits, ‘scapes of land.

Create all with stroke of hand.

 –

Painting best when it is late.

Quiet time to concentrate.

Never famous ‘tis my fate,

Only paint in slumber’s state.

 –

If I could create these things,

Artwork, in deep sleep,  mind pings.

Creations of wondrous things

Suitable, only, for kings.
