Poem about Getting Visitors

Family to Visit

Up at dawn, now house is clean.

Worked hard ‘til table tops seen.

Everything put in it’s place

Smile rests upon her face.

Fam’ly comes, glad for visit.

Clutter cleared, places to sit.

They get out the games and toys.

She sits watching wrestling boys.

Day done, all gone to their homes.

Throughout the house, chaos roams.

Cups, papers, up turned vases,

Nothing in proper places.

Up ‘til dawn, now house is clean.

Worked hard, now order is seen.

Smile rests upon her face.

Everything back in it’s place.
