Poem about life

Strength

 –

Strong, but not always so,

Strength built on life of woe.

Lessons learned often hard.

Life rebuilt from torn shard.

Never quit, kept up fight.

To friends often a plight.

 –

Secret I wish to share,

I watched… always aware.

Looked to others mishaps,

And to their joys perhaps.

Mimicking those that work,

Those that didn’t… would shirk.

 –

Not sudden, but day came,

All pain not borne in vane.

Slowly, recouped spirit

Patched life, gaining merit

Confidence in self built

Wondrous life, patchwork quilt.
