Poem about Month of May

Month of May

 –

Flowers abloom, fresh falling rain.

Sounds of spring, gentle in my brain.

Walking dog along Burton Lane.

Greeting neighbors, friendly refrain.

Flowers bloom, aroma in air

This day is just too good to bear.

Too bad it’s. . . . allergy season!

Runny nose, itchy eyes, sneezin’

Can’t let pollen ruin my day

Love this time of year, month of May

Nursing sore throat with medicine.

Good excuse, for hot toddies again!
